Public Product Site
The public product page stores the selected landing-page language in
browser local storage under baskettrainer.product.locale.
This is used only to remember the user's preferred product-page
language.
Authenticated Web Platform
The authenticated web app and its providers may use cookies, local storage, indexed storage, or equivalent browser storage for:
- authentication and session continuity;
- Google or Apple sign-in flows;
- language and user preferences;
- pending public plan or team/trainer invite handoff after login;
- app state, caching, and performance;
- diagnostics, crash reporting, and security.
Third-party Content
Product and public pages may load Bootstrap, Bootstrap Icons, Google Fonts, and YouTube or YouTube-nocookie embeds. These providers may set cookies or use local storage according to their own policies when the browser requests their resources or when a user plays embedded video.
Mobile and Watch Apps
Mobile and watch apps do not use browser cookies for native app operation, but they use equivalent app storage for login state, local cache, preferences, push tokens, watch-sync state, offline workout drafts, and diagnostic data.
Managing Storage
Users can clear browser storage through browser settings. Clearing storage may sign the user out, remove preferences, clear pending invite/public-plan handoff state, or require re-authentication. Mobile users can clear app storage through the operating system or use app settings where available.
