1. Operator
BasketTrainer is operated by Fit4You s.r.o., Parkova 29, Slovakia. The product may also appear in stores or apps as Basketball Trainer.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, signing in, accessing the platform, using a mobile or watch app, opening public trainer pages, buying or requesting a plan, or continuing to use BasketTrainer after an update to these terms, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

4. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for keeping your account secure, using accurate account information, and making sure your role is correct. Coaches, team trainers, team administrators, and organization administrators must not grant access to player, team, or health/fitness data unless they have authority to do so.
BasketTrainer uses role-based access. A user's visible features and data may depend on their role, team, trainer assignment, public invite, account status, and backend environment.
5. Minors and Team Use
You must be at least 13 years old to create, access, or control a direct BasketTrainer account. If you are aged 13 to 17, you may use a direct account only with any permission required under applicable law from your parent, guardian, club, school, or other responsible organization.
BasketTrainer may be used in youth-team contexts. An authorized coach, club, school, team, or guardian may create and manage a limited guest athlete profile for a younger athlete when it has a lawful basis and authority to do so. Such a guest profile does not give the younger athlete a login and must not be used to make the athlete publicly discoverable or provide unrestricted user-to-user communication. The responsible adult or organization must provide required notices, obtain and retain required consent, limit access, keep the data accurate, and request deletion when the data is no longer needed.
6. Health, Fitness, and Safety
BasketTrainer provides training workflow tools, not medical advice, medical diagnosis, emergency response, or a medical device. You are responsible for deciding whether a training plan, test, exercise, body-composition workflow, or watch timer is safe for a particular athlete. Stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms and seek professional help when appropriate.
Coaches, team trainers, and users must adapt exercises, loads, progressions, recovery, and return-to-play decisions to the athlete's age, fitness, health, skill, equipment, and environment. See the Health and Safety Disclaimer.
7. User and Trainer Content
Users, coaches, trainers, teams, and administrators may upload or create content such as exercises, descriptions, videos, images, journal notes, messages, tests, plans, team data, public profiles, and public landing-page content. You must have the right to submit that content and you remain responsible for it.
By submitting content, you grant BasketTrainer the non-exclusive rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, transform, back up, search, export, and otherwise operate the service. Public profile and public plan content can be indexed or visible without login when you publish it.
Communication safety
Direct-message text can be checked by automated safety rules before it is accepted. In a direct conversation, users can report a message or the other participant and can block or unblock that participant. A block stops new communication in that conversation but does not automatically erase the existing history or a safety report.
BasketTrainer may retain the reported message, surrounding context, report reason, optional note, relevant restricted evidence, and the moderation decision for safety, dispute, and legal purposes. Access to the moderation queue and restricted evidence is limited to authorized administrators. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or contact relevant authorities when reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.
Use the in-app report control or contact bestbasketballtrainer@gmail.com for a safety concern. BasketTrainer is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or another appropriate authority.
8. Public Profiles and Public Plans
Trainer public pages and promoted plans are controlled by the publishing trainer, team trainer, or administrator. Published content must be accurate, lawful, non-misleading, and suitable for the intended audience. Public plan pages may hand users into the authenticated app through web links or mobile deep links.
If a trainer sells paid plans, the trainer is responsible for the accuracy of the offer, pricing, suitability, delivery, refund handling, VAT, sales tax, accounting duties, and any consumer-information duties that apply to that trainer as the seller or professional provider. BasketTrainer is not the seller of the trainer's public plan.
9. Payments
Payment flows for public paid plans may use Stripe Connect. Card details are handled by Stripe, not directly by BasketTrainer. We may receive payment status, checkout metadata, connected account identifiers, and related information needed to unlock or support a plan. BasketTrainer may deduct a platform commission from paid public plan sales according to the trainer's subscription tier or an administrator-approved override. Refunds, taxes, receipts, chargebacks, and disputes are handled by the trainer as seller and may also be governed by Stripe terms, app-store rules, the trainer's offer, and applicable law. A public plan payment must not proceed unless the trainer has a valid and ready Stripe Connect account.
EU consumer withdrawal rights may apply to paid digital content or services depending on how the purchase is offered, who sells it, and whether the user requests immediate access. Sellers should obtain legal review before enabling paid plans broadly.
10. AI-assisted Features
AI-assisted output is generated from user-provided prompts, selected catalog data, trainer settings, audio, image, or document inputs. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsafe for a specific athlete, or inconsistent with local coaching standards. A human must review and adjust AI output before it is assigned, followed, published, or used in training decisions.
11. Acceptable Use
You must not use BasketTrainer to:
- break the law or violate the rights of others;
- upload content you do not have permission to use;
- harass, abuse, exploit, or endanger another person;
- collect or expose personal data without authority;
- misrepresent health, medical, sport, billing, or team information;
- interfere with security, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attack the service;
- use the service for emergency, medical diagnosis, or life-safety purposes.
12. Third-party Services
BasketTrainer can depend on third-party services such as AWS, Firebase, Google, Apple, Algolia, Sentry, OpenAI, Stripe, YouTube, app stores, and open-source libraries. Your use of third-party login, payment, video, app-store, or platform features may also be subject to the terms and privacy notices of those providers.
13. Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of BasketTrainer, update features, change providers, remove unsafe or unlawful content, restrict accounts, or perform maintenance. We try to preserve user data and service continuity, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.
14. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, BasketTrainer is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for training, medical, coaching, payment, or organizational decisions made by users, coaches, trainers, teams, or public-plan sellers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where needed to protect users, comply with law, enforce these terms, address security issues, prevent abuse, or respond to non-payment or store/platform requirements. You may delete a signed-in account at Settings → Delete account in the iOS/Android app or User settings → Danger zone → Delete account in the authenticated web app. You may also request account or selected-data deletion at https://baskettrainer.com/legal/account-deletion.html.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia and applicable EU law, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise. Users may also have mandatory rights in their country of residence.
